Challenge Rob / Keeping the Country Flying
(cont)
As my shift with the crew ended, I can honestly admit to being no wiser about how the incredible machine worked.
This did, nonetheless, leave me with an even greater respect for the technicians who manage to keep the flight operational and ensure the safety of both the crew and airshow audiences alike.
The BBMF is a valuable link to our past, and an incredibly well-preserved piece of history, so thank heavens that Sticky and his crew are so committed to ensuring that it continues.
“There’s a huge sense of pride when it’s in the air.” Says Sticky. “The pleasure is in the detail, ensuring everything is correctly assembled and knowing that you’re preserving the aircraft for future audiences to enjoy!”
