Additionally, both height and the movement of each obstacle is built up slowly, allowing someone a little unsure of heights to build up their confidence slowly.
The mainstay of the course’s safety measures is two Karabinas – ‘D’ links on both yellow and blue slightly longer and slightly shorter lines. The longer yellow line is always attached to the tree first, so whenever you move from landing platform to obstacle you’re always tethered both to the tree and the obstacle at all times, or via two lines to the landing platform tree or obstacle via two lines.
An additional line clips on to an inertia line which locks if it detects sudden movement, and is used to provide extra security when on Tarzan Swings and when climbing ladders.
