Eating Out / New Castle
(cont)
Our starters of Cannelloni of Smoked Ham with Baby Leeks & Set Honey and Diver Caught Sea Scallop with Slow Cooked Pork Belly & Sweet Pea were exceptional contemporary dishes, artistically presented with brightness and vibrancy. Our main course of Seared Halibut Goat’s Cheese Sphere & Smooth Beetroot was presented on a huge canvas and tasted exquisite. Finally, an asiette of desserts in miniature included iced coconut mousse & pineapple and was zesty, imaginatively presented and downright sexy, a slick, technically sophisticated dish with magnificent flavours.
Keep an eye on the restaurant’s reputation in 2008 and do visit whilst there’s still room in the restaurant on a Saturday night – we can confidently predict that before too long it’ll be difficult to make a reservation as the popularity of the restaurant in 2008 is certain to boom.
With a dedicated and brilliant team, excellent front of house and stunning food, it’s definitely worthy of our recommendation this month!
