Editorial / Welcome to Lincolnshire Pride...
We are constantly striving to offer our readers more, and since its launch in 2002, the magazine has grown from a 68 to 164 page publication, predominantly growing its number of editorial rather than advertising pages to ensure the magazine is packed with plenty of independent rather than business oriented features to interest our readers.
Lincolnshire is a diverse county and consequently we always welcome contributions from both professional freelance journalists and enthusiastic amateurs alike all over the county. Likewise, we welcome press releases, preferably with photographs, for both our Business News and County News sections, news of High Society Events and amusing stories, memories & experiences of the county for our Anecdotes page. For full features, aim to write 800-1,000 words and include around five good quality photographs, for news and anecdotal contributions, 200 words and one photograph is sufficient – all material should be typed or word-processed.
Please note that editorially we work two or three months in advance and so your contributions for date related material should reflect this.
We reserve the right to edit material, and all material used is done so at the discretion of the Editor, who will not accept material which may cause offensive.
Material produced by Lincolnshire Pride is protected by UK copyright laws but we’re happy to allow featured photographs to be reproduced for personal or commercial use with prior permission – to make an enquiry about purchasing photographs with or without copyright control, please contact our Editor.
