“It’s a super idea and it’s proved really popular so far!” says Tim. “People can listen when they want to no matter where they are, and in this day and age, we’re finding that it is proving sufficiently flexible to encourage more people to take an interest in our message.”

+The Right Revd Dr John Saxbee
Bishop John is a Bristolian who served as a parish priest and Director of Training in Devon, before moving to Shropshire as Bishop and Archdeacon of Ludlow - and then to Lincoln in 2002. Married to Jackie, his Secretary, their daughter Helen also works for the Church Times. He loves Fish & Chips, Bruckner, The Corrs, Eastenders, and Lincolnshire Poacher Cheese, and lists among his dislikes meringues, reality TV, dogmatism and The Daily Mail. ”My likely epitaph will read ‘He meant well’,” said Bishop John.

David became Bishop of Grimsby in 2000 having previously been a parish priest and Rural Dean in Berkshire. As well as working with the parishes in the north of the Diocese, Bishop David is involved with Church Schools and with the Ecumenical Chaplaincies organised by Lincolnshire Chaplaincy Services.

Bishop Tim is a Yorkshireman who rejoices to live and work in Lincolnshire. Trained at King’s College, London and St Augustine’s College, Canterbury, he has a special interest in ecclesiastical architecture in which he gained a Doctorate from York University. A keen supporter and season ticket holder at Sheffield Wednesday, Bishop Tim also enjoys travel, fine wines, modern music and Jack Russell dogs.
